Autumn Sunshine in the Trossachs

Following on from my last post about how bad weather shouldn't be something that you worry about I had to put up a few pictures of an amazingly hot and sunny wedding day at the end of September, in Scotland! I photographed the wedding of Rowena and Andrew whom I had met before as I was also the photographer for the wedding of Rowena's sister, Sarah. The forecast was good but I was still bowled over by quite how nice the weather was and to see the Trossachs hills, just 30 minutes from Glasgow, in that weather with the sun low in the sky was truly awe inspiring. The entire day was at the Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Resort near Aberfoyle, a venue I have been to many times in the past and one I always look forward to returning to. As you can see from the pictures below it is in a wonderful setting and, after their Humanist ceremony outside, we took full advantage of the nearby Loch Ard for a couple of relaxed pictures before joining the rest of the guests in the gardens.
