On the 5th June I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Cheryl and Stewart in Edinburgh on a scorching-hot day. My day started at the Malmaison Hotel in Leith before driving down to the church in Musselburgh and then on to the Eskmills Function Suite. Cheryl and Stewart were perfect clients for me - apart from a few family group pictures they just wanted to be able to have fun and enjoy themselves whilst I worked away in the background. I even got to photograph the first bouquet throwing of the year!
Cheryl sent me the following really lovely email:
"I know I spoke to you on the phone but I just wanted to send a message to say a huge thank you for our wedding photographs.
When we arrived home from honeymoon and they were waiting on us, we were so excited but also a little nervous. There was no need to be nervous though because as soon as we opened the booklet and saw the first page, we knew they were going to be everything we had hoped they would be. We spent ages looking at them and I loved the way you managed to capture every one of our guests.
What comes across in every image is how happy everyone was on the day and how much everyone enjoyed it, especially Stewart and I. We have never seen wedding pictures like them and having you snapping away in the background while we mingled with all of our guests really made the wedding for us. As I've told everyone since the wedding, booking you was the best decision I made, apart from picking Stewart of course!
I will not hesitate to to recommend you in the future Trevor. Your laid back attitude set us both at ease and it was a pleasure to meet youSee you soon when we eventually manage to pick our album!"
